I write all most every day of what goes on in our home in the garden and in the nursery. We are ordinance workers at the Manti Temple on the Tuesday morning shift and the Saturday evening shift. In addition there are several trips to Utah county a couple of times a month and a few short trips to other mountain west areas. Our family is most important to us. All of our children live in Utah except one who lives in Kentucky.
This morning we put on our church clothes and went to the temple.
We came streight home
I watered the plants in greenhouse five
later it begaa to rain and snow.
I put the pomegranate bush in the garage,
We watched fidler on the roof.
TV dish had a little snow on it.
I went around the yard and turned on a little bit of water so the pipes wouldn't freeze and break.
This morning starts a regular day. I showered, dressed, and turned on the morning news. I fed the cats. Carol was up a little later, she showered also. I didn't realize that it is April 1 today. It is a tradition to trick someone. We had breakfast. We watched some of the morning TV shows. It has been raining. The frying pan ln the patio has one half inch of water in it. It was still raining when I went to the post office, it was still raining. When I got back home, I walked out to greenhouse five and watered all of the plants. When I got back to the house, Carol made sandwiches for lunch.
I was a little late getting up this morning. If fed the cats, We Had breakfast. Watched the morning shows. For lunch we gad warmups for lunch. It was close to two when we picked up Elisha and took her to the drug store. Carol bought some birthday cards. Alisha bought a few groceries. We waited in the car for her. She wanted to treat us with Ice cream cones. We went ice cream store. Elisha ordered one large cone, and we ordered two small ones. Alisha paid for them. We then took Elisha to her home. She soon rang the doorbell. She had left her phone in our car. We went home and had been home for just a few minutes. The doorbell rang again; CR Charlesworth was at the door. We bought some groceries that he was selling.

I fixed three bowels of old fashion oatmeal mush. While this was cooking, I fed the cats. We ate breakfast and watched some of the morning TV shows. I watered the plants in greenhouse five. After lunch we drove to Fillmore and filled the car with gas. Then we stopped at Stuart Electric. I have some earphones that wouldn't work. I thought that I would buy some new ones. He made a couple of adjustments and they work perfectly. We then went to the Fillmore market and bought some groceries. While there we met our neighbor who lives across the road from us and a former Sunday school teacher. We then drove home, Carol is watching the TV show, The Wind at My Back. While she was doing this, I watched some TV videos testing out the volume. I was able to do it.
I filled in the hole west of the hen house. I took the weed eater all the tall grass away from the hole that I filled with dirt.Here is another picture where l cut away the weeds.I was a little late getting this morning. I showed, got dressed, and watched some of the morning news. Richard was still in bed but he soon got up and showered. Carol was up and we fixed breakfast. She got potatoes and put them in the oven. I set the timer. I checked my phone for any messages. I had choir practice at nine. Easter is next week and general conference is next week. The bishopric decided to have Easter program today to show an appreciation for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The choir sang four song. The Easter program was good. We had asparagus, baked potatoes, beef steaks and gravy for dinner. Richard fried the steaks. Richard left after dinner. I watered the plants in greenhouse five. I had warmups for supper.
Richard stayed with us last night and was still in bed. I fed the cats and started the old fashion oatmeal mush. Richard got up and left. He planned on going to the zoo in Salt Lake City. He soon came back. It was too far to drive. Cost of gas was too high. I fixed him breakfast. Later he helped fix the shower curtain. Carol washed the sheets. I helped her make the beds. There was a big tree that was laying in the path on the way to the well. He got my electric chain saw. We got a long extension cord. He plunged one end in a power box in house five. He soon cut out a piece of that dead tree. Richard and Carol have been watering the front lawn. I watered the pomegranate bush a big picture of water, I turned some water on some fruit trees east of greenhouse five. It took some of the water that was running the front lawn. Tiger, our cat, was a sleep on the roof.

I watched the clock to make sure that I was up at 5:30 this morning. The alarm on my phone didn't ring. I showered and put my suite on. We after breakfast we drove to Lindon. We got off at 1600 north. The road is under construction. It took a long time to get to Nyleen's house. we picked up Carol's sister, Nyleen. We had an enjoyable time. We took Nyleen home. She had a sack lunch for us. We stopped at Sam's Club for some groceries and a bag of cat food. There was a lot of traffic going south. There was no mail. When we got home I put my suit away and put on my overalls. Then I unloaded the car. I watered the plants in greenhouse five.
This morning after the morning chores, I drove to Fillmore and stopped at Ropers. I delivered a picture of the pipes and got the name of a plumber. I then came home. I called a plumber. There was no answer. I got out my weed eater and began cutting down the weeds east of greenhouse sis. I made a path east to the well. That would make easier for plumber to get to the well and make the necessary repairs. Carol went to her exercising class. We had warmups for lunch.
I am short one of my medications. I called the Express Script to determine what I am missing. I was on the phone answering questions with yes or no for a long time. Finally, I was able to talk to a person. Then I talked to another person. I talked to a doctor who determined what I was missing. I was told to talk to our doctor in Fillmore. He would give me a new prescription.

I was short one pill in my medication. We decided to take my four bottles of medication and visit the clinic. The couldn't help much. They had the records of my medications. But mine had the generic name. Carol stayed in the car. I was there for quite a long time. We also filled the car with gas. I was going to turn on the water at the well. I went around the yard and turned off a the ends of all the water lines. Next I went back to the well and turned the electric switch. The water began to fill the pressure tank. The water was leaking at several place in front of the pressure tank. I turned of the power. No I need a good plumber. I looked om line for a local plumber. I couldn't find any.

Everything this morning was pretty normal. I watered all of the indoor plants. We had breakfast. We watched some of the morning shows. I started cleaning all the stuff that was on the table in the little bedroom. There was an old computer, a printer, a TV monitor and various extension cords. I called Dan Speakman and asked him if he could take. I put them in the car trunk. This afternoon drove to his shop in Fillmore. We put all of it on his front porch. Later this afternoon we put the house garbage in a big garbage bag and loaded into the trunk. We were going to take it to the trump. We drove around town for a while. We went up and down the streets. We drove back home. We drove into our driveway, a friend of our dove his tractor with his tiller into the north garden. All of the following pictures are of our friend and his tractor except one second from the end.
I slept pretty good during the night. I woke up four times. I got up this morning and put the roast in the slow cooker.
My alarm didn't go off this morning, so I was a couple minutes late getting up. I showed, dressed and watched the morning news. and a couple of the woodworking shows. I fed the cats and we then had breakfast. I put on my suit and later went to church for the funeral. The funeral was for Ryan Clark Bennett. He is the son of Ted and Karen Bennett. She has a barber shop in her house. She takes care of our hair. Carol didn't go because she was sick. I went through the line and expressed our condolences. I then waited in the chapel. I went home and watched the service on my laptop. The services were good. Carol made grilled cheese sandwiches and pork and beans, Tonight we had frozen dinners. It has been another hot day.
I watched the morning news. I fed the cats and we had breakfast. After the morning shows I picked up Elisha and drove to Fillmore. We got some groceries and I took Elisha to her house. drove to Fillmore. Carol called Lisa and they talked for some time. Carol mentioned our fruit trees that are blooming now. Lisa wanted some pictures. I walked around the yard and took four pictures and posted them on Face Book. The plants germination trays should have been watered. They look light they are dead. I should have watered this morning.

Carol went to the doctor this morning. She hasn't been feeling well for a couple of days. Her appointment was at 11:30. We were there plenty early. After a while a nurse took us into the exam room. Later the doctor's assistant came in and checked heart and her lungs. We stopped at the drug store for her medication then went home and had hotdog sandwiches.
Everything was pretty normal this morning. I decided to replace the coupler. I dug the old coupler out and drove to Roper's to get a replacement part.
The shower curtain fell down last night. This morning I fixed it up a little and was able to shower before it fell again. I fed the cats and made batch of old fashion oatmeal mush. I started the roast in the slow cooker. I scrabbled two eggs and then fried an egg for Carol. Richard got up. I fried two eggs for him. I then made some tapioca pudding. I went to church. Carol and Richard didn't go because they were sick, Sacrament meeting and Sunday school were good. Carol fixed a good dinner. Richard didn't eat any dinner. Before Richard left we fixed the shower curtain rod so it will stay in place.
We took some electrical wire that was used for the telephone and wrapped it around the shower rod and taped it to the wall. We used several layers of duct tape. The photo is of the left shower wall. We did the same to the right shower wall.Richard was gone when I got up. When he returned, he said that he had to go back to work to fix a problem. I was able to shower by carefully getting the tub. I showered and then carefully got out of the tub. I dressed and watched the morning news; I fed the cats and fixed breakfast. I picked up the mail. Carol made cheese and baloney sandwiches for lunch. Richard helped me fix the shower curtain so it won't come down.
I checked on the plants in greenhouse five. The fig bushes have been growing leaves. But today I saw several of the bush with small young green figs.Last night when I went to bed the shower curtain had fallen down, I took to the family room to keep out of the way. This morning when I got up I put the show curtain back up and was able to shower. As soon as I finished, it came down again. I watched the morning news. I fed the cats and fixed breakfast. We watched the morning TV shows. Carol left for her exercise class. I went back to my bathroom and after several tries, the shower curtain is in place. I don't know how long it will stay up.
There was a potato in the pantry that was grow sprouts. I cut into four pieces yesterday and planted them in greenhouse six this morning.
I was still eating breakfast when Robert came. I finished mt breakfast and then turned the power onHe had an extension cord hooked up to the compressor. He was going to start our tractor. It has been years since we had it running. It runs diesel fuel. Dusten brought his truck to the tractor to charge the tractor battery, The fuel filter leaked. They drove to Fillmore and got a new filter. They finally got it started, Robert drove it over to get the tree spade. Todd Troset had a tractor that could lift the tree spade and put it on the trailer. Todd was working on a ditch and couldn't come. Dusten backed his trailer and began to load it on his trailer, The got it loaded. Dusten secured it to the trailer and hauled it away. Robert then drove home.
