Irrigation Turn

We were to get the water at seven this morning.  Robert came to help.  We went up to the ditch.  There was not any water there, I called the watermaster. He was home and he soon came and turned down the water.  Robert cleaned the leaves and trash that was in the ditch, We watered the east lawn.  We watered the north garden.  We also watered the sweet corn and last we watered the rest of the front lawn.

Robert used the blower to blow some leaves of the driveway. It was nearly two this afternoon when we turned the water down the ditch to the next person.
These yellow jackets were sprayed a water and dawn soap.  They are dead or are dying.
More yellow jackets. The crack in the dead tree in the back yard was full or yellow jackets.

Robert then got in his car and drove home,    Richard came.  He will be staying with us for the weekend.

Trip to Fillmore

We picked up our mail at the post office and then drove to Fillmore.  We got a few groceries and then came home.  We unloaded the groceries.  I got a quick glimpse of Calico when we left.  I opened the front door, and Calico was waiting for something to eat.  I gave her some cat food and water, but she wouldn't let me touch her.  We had sweet corn for supper.  I watered the tubs and baskets on the front porch.

Robert Helps

After breakfast Robert calls and tells me that he is coming. He is going to help at the nursery.

There is a bush growing in the front yard,  He cut off all of the suckers and loaded them in the truck.  What is left is a small tree instead of a bush.
Before he left we got the selfie.
We picked two small pots of figs.  Robert took one home and we gave one to Richard Darnel.
I wanted to mow the lawn, but lawnmower was broken.  The belt that runs the blades came loose.
I called Richard Darnel, and he came over and fixed it.  I was able to mow the lawns. The front lawn grass was really tall.  I had some of the grass west of the driveway left when the lawn mower quit. I drove the lawnmower over to Richard's house.  He fixed it again.  I then finished the mowing.  Robert pulled up all of the onions in greenhouse six.  He laid them out in groups to cure.  We labeled some of the dahlias in house two that we wanted to keep.  Robert fixed the drip tape in greenhouse one.
