Provo City Center Temple Dedication

We have been waiting for nearly five years for the dedication of the Provo City Center Temple in downtown Provo, Utah.  Over the years since the Provo Tabernacle burned down we have observed growing back almost from month to month.
The photo Is taken inside the temple after we had completed the tour.  The temple is a large print that were standing in front while a volunteer took a picture and emailed to us.

The temple was dedicated today.   The first session started at nine this morning.  Twelve and three  this afternoon were the two additional dedication sessions.  We were at the first session in plenty of time to have our choice of seats.  There was a video presentation showing temples from around the world.  We watched it for forty-five minutes.  Then the dedication meeting began.  It can be viewed in most of the Stake Houses in Utah.

It was a very spiritual meeting.  I was most impressed with Elders Lynn G. Robbins and Kent F. Richards of the Seventy     one of the presidents of the First Quorum of Seventies.   One of the many things that he spoke of was the temple recommend.  He said that it is visa card, a past port card, a deed to our heavenly mansion.

We prepared a Dutch oven dinner which was put on a time bake to be finished by noon. It contained potatoes, Carrots, onions, a beef roast, and one can of mushroom soup.  Carol made some Jello containing canned peaches, and I made some tapioca pudding.  All was very good.
