Ward Conference

Sunday morning: I made a new batch of old fashion oatmeal mush and then fed the cats.  Richard got up and he said that he didn't feel well. He didn't eat anything. He didn't go to church.  It was ward conference and there were a lot of visitors from the Stake. The speakers and teachers did a good job. We came home. Richard was feeling much better.  He cooked steaks and did a good job. He used a lot of condiments. The really tasted good. He parked his four-wheeler on the patio. He then left.

It Works

This morning when I got up there was a little more snow.   I began to clean it off the front driveway. There was about a half inch, but under it there was bumpy frozen bumpy ice. I went to the post office. there was no mail. There was no snow on main street, but it was wet. I watered the plants in greenhouse five. I cleaned the snow of the front porch sidewalk. Carol fixed hot dog sandwiches for lunch.

I worked on the phone system for a long time and I think that I got it figured out, There is a phone on the table in the family room which in the picture above.  There is a phone identical to the above phone is in the master bedroom. the third phone has a place one the coffee table.
This how the front sidewalk looked when I got up this morning. I cleaned off the snow. Richard showed up this evening.  He will spend the weekend with us. He was here and supper with us.

We pricket up the mail and then drove home. Lisa ordered new phones and they were here this afternoon.  The box contained three phones; they were identical to the phones that we have.  I worked most of the afternoon getting them to work. There were three phones.  One for the family room and one for the bedroom.  We haven't determined where to put the third phone.  Some boys from the ranch cleaned the snow off our driveway.

Rain

It was about seven this morning when we left Holden.  There was some rain in the valley some snow in the mountains.  We were soon in Linden where we picked up Nyleen and drove to the Mount Timpanogos temple. We were early enough to go the earlier session.  When the session was over, we took Nyleen home.  She made us a nice sack lunch. We stopped at Sams Club where we bought some groceries.  It began to rain quite hard. We then went to Walmart where I bought a connecting cable for my phone. It worked. I am now able to take picture and post them on my blog.

There was about one half inch of rainwater in this frying pan on the patio, it looks like a mirror showing the tree branches above.
This another picture I took, showing the temperature in greenhouse five. We took the house garbage to the dump.  There has been some thunder this afternoon.

Power Was Off

After breakfast we watched one TV show when the power was turned off.  This was announced several weeks ago.  I backed the car out of the garage.  The power was turned off at nine right as scheduled.  We had planned to take three unopened glass coke bottles to Maryanne.  We soon drove to Sutherland and stopped her house.  After a short we drove around Sutherland.  We looked at the home where I grew up.  We went the cemetery where our baby and my parents were buried. We then drove on miles and miles of dirt roads.  We filled the care with gas in Fillmore.   W bought some hamburger and then drove home.  The power came back on. I went out to greenhouse five to hook up the drip tape to water a row of peas.  I tried several times. The water presure was too high and caused the connections to come apart.

Watering Peas

When I went out to greenhouse five this morning, I discovered that I had left the water on, there was a big puddle of water under the fertilizer container.  I shut the water off the water, Then I got a water braker and began to spray the row of peas that Robert planted. That didn't work very well. I then took the water braker of and the water directly from the hose. Awhile later I walked backwards dragging the hose on the row of peas. I expect that they will germinate in a week from now.    I then watered Robert's fruit trees and Carol's pomegranate bush.

Combination

Last night I went to bed thinking about finding the combination for the safe.  I had a dream about the location of the combination. It will be in a book.  I saw the book. It showed the combination on the inside cover. I tried many times following the directions and wasn't able to unlock the safe.  I think my hands are too shaky, Richard came this afternoon.  I had him try to unlock the safe. He couldn't do it either.

I scattered the pomegranates in the garden; they were all rotten.  Some may germinate in the spring.  If they do, I will dig some up and put them in nursery pot and grow them in greenhouse five.  Lisa ordered a cable to charge my iPad last Thursday, it came tonight,
