rain

The kitten began cry. I shut my bedroom door.

The pantry floor was covered with stuff, we could hardly walk through the junk to get something. Carol removed the stuff we didn't want or needed.
We put some cat food and water by the front door. The kitten ate some while we were asleep.
These are some of the flowers that we bought yesterday.

Payson Temple

It was nearly eight when we left Holden. Before we left, we searched all over the house for a kitten. It has been in the house for several days. We see quite often but it runs to several locations and hides behind the TV stand or behind the piano or other furniture. We had a good experience at the temple. We then stopped at Walmart and bought some flowering plants. We stopped in Nephi and bought some ice cream cones. We then drove home. I put the plants on the cart and watered them; I then watered the baskets and plants on the front porch. I then put on my work clothes. We searched every room in the house for that kitten. I ate the rest of the casserole that Lisa brought.

Photos

My bedroom clock was wrong. The power went off yesterday for an hour or so.

Larry and Leslie stopped by the other day and visited us. It was Saturday when Lisa and Emy came. We got this selfie. Lisa brought a lot of food. Emy and Lisa prepared it. It has been a long time since we have seen Emy.

I took this picture as test.

Carol went to her exercise class. While she was gone, I called Dan for some help with my laptop computer. There is a baby kitten caught somewhere. We can hear it whining. We have looked everywhere, but we can't find. It sounds like it is in the house. By the way the power went off for an hour or so.

We stopped at the drug store and then went Roper's and I bought another sprinkler. We bought some groceries and then came home. For lunch Carol made bacon and egg sandwiches which were really good. I tried the new sprinkler and then found an old one.

Carol wasn't there. The car was still in the garage. I found her in the garden weeding. I planted more Topaz melons. I then started weeding the onions.

The row on the right is where I weeded the onions. I was on my hands and knees while doing this. It was really muddy because I watered it last night. This picture of the garden didn't come out well because I was facing the morning sun.
These are the seedless grapes in greenhouse five. I watered them this morning. A measuring cup has been missing. I looked all over the house, the garage, the greenhouses and could find it. I found in the corner cabinet in the kitchen.

The plug one this drip line came off. I kint it and stuck in a PVC pipe.

I got out the weed eater and cut weeds west of the driveway. The peonies are the only plants left standing.
I put another drip by the dry looking dhalia.

The grapes are getting bigger. Some of the grape vines in greenhouse six were growing.

These are the grapes in greenhouse six. They are pretty small. These vines are growing on the ground.
The grapes in greenhouse five are much larger. The are hanging on a wire trailless.

We then stopped at Lillies for lunch. After lunch I watered the plants in the garden. Carol watered the tubs and baskets on the front porch. I wasn't able to fix the tap. It still leaks a lot of water.

What a Day?

Carol did some weeding in the garden. She was gone a long time; I thought that she might have fell down. I went out.  Later we planted some more peaches and cream sweet corn, I planted some a couple of weeks ago. Some did not germinate. So, I dug a small hole and Carol put in some seeds and then I covered them. I stayed out longer watering them.

I went to Fillmore to have my laptop fixed.  I then stopped at Roper's to get a tap. I tried to install it in greenhouse five. The connecting part was put together wrong. I went home to fix it. I got it right, but it was too large and wouldn't fit.

Two of my neighbors fixed the garage door. When we shut the door, it wouldn't stay down. They worked on it a little while. It now stays down.
After we planted the corn, I watered it.
I found these watering strings in the shed.
A robin grabbed the end of this string and pulled it away. I wound it around this can.

Now I have three bowels of mush. I found an old garden hose that has been in the weeds for years. I cleaned it. I planted seven groups of topaz melon seeds in the north garden. We drove to Fillmore and filled the car with gas. Before we went home, we stopped at Roper's for some garden hose attachments. I got my weed eater and cut a lot of weeds by the tap; I hooked the hose to the tap and pot the other end on the row Topaz melons. The were soon watered. Carol made soup for lunch.
