Richfield

After breakfast we watched the morning TV shows.

I took this picture of our front porch this morning. It has been a long time that I have took a picture, edit it and then posted it. This afternoon we drove to Richfield. Carol had an appointment with her doctor. There was a lot of road improvements which stopped traffic.

This was a practice photo to see if the camera would work. I was facing the sun.
This is a photo of the hospital. Carol's appointment on the second floor.
We parked just west of the hospital.
There was a lot road work going south of Scipio. We were parked on the highway for a long time. On the way home we didn't have to stop, but we drove home at a decent speed.

To Payson

After breakfast this morning we drove to Payson for a session at the Payson temple. When we arrived and parked, we walked to the temple. Our temple recommends were scanned. Our recommends expespired a couple of days ago. We drove back home.  We then drove to Fillmore and gassed up the car.   I stopped at Roper's to get some parts for the tap in greenhouse five. We then stopped at Lillies for lunch. After lunch I watered the plants in the garden. Carol watered the tubs and baskets on the front porch. I wasn't able to fix the tap. It still leaks a lot of water.

What a Day?

Carol did some weeding in the garden. She was gone a long time; I thought that she might have fell down. I went out.  Later we planted some more peaches and cream sweet corn, I planted some a couple of weeks ago. Some did not germinate. So, I dug a small hole and Carol put in some seeds and then I covered them. I stayed out longer watering them.

I went to Fillmore to have my laptop fixed.  I then stopped at Roper's to get a tap. I tried to install it in greenhouse five. The connecting part was put together wrong. I went home to fix it. I got it right, but it was too large and wouldn't fit.

Two of my neighbors fixed the garage door. When we shut the door, it wouldn't stay down. They worked on it a little while. It now stays down.
After we planted the corn, I watered it.
I found these watering strings in the shed.
A robin grabbed the end of this string and pulled it away. I wound it around this can.

Now I have three bowels of mush. I found an old garden hose that has been in the weeds for years. I cleaned it. I planted seven groups of topaz melon seeds in the north garden. We drove to Fillmore and filled the car with gas. Before we went home, we stopped at Roper's for some garden hose attachments. I got my weed eater and cut a lot of weeds by the tap; I hooked the hose to the tap and pot the other end on the row Topaz melons. The were soon watered. Carol made soup for lunch. Surprise !!! Snow

It was a surprise to see snow in our yard. The TV wasn't working when we went to bed last night. There must have been stormy weather that interfered with the satellite signal. I put on my work shoes and my coat and went out. The snow was heavy on the tree branches that it blocked the TV signal; I went out two more times. The TV began to work properly. I watered the peas.

It was warm weather when Richard brought these hanging baskets. One was from Richard and one was from Lisa. The baskets got pretty cold last night, but the seem to be okay.
There chrysanthemums pots that didn't look damaged.
This is a shrub that grows on both sides of the porch. It is showing new growth.
This cactus plant has new flowers. The only last a couple of days.
