Carol's Birthday

It is Carol's birthday today and I completely forgot about it until someone called.  Carol needed to pick up a prescription today.  We first stopped at the post office and picked up a package that came from Melissa.  We took it home and then went to Fillmore where we got the prescription at the drug store.  I filled the car with gas while Carol was at the Hospital getting a urine test.  We stopped at the grocery store and got a good supply of groceries.  We walked into the house and put the groceries away.  We opened the box that Melissa sent.  It was filled with presents.  Some for me and some for Carol.  Just then the back door opened and it was Lisa.   She brought a bunch of presents.  And some flowers with a dozen roses.  She found a vase and made a beautiful bouquet.

I had Lisa take a couple of pictures with my phone.  Carol is look into one of the packages.  It is a little fuzzy.
This picture is quite clear.  Carol likes this one because it hid her face.  Lisa made a special trip to bring the presents and was her for about ten minutes and the went back hope to take Emi to a ball game.
Lisa brought a cake and some candles.   Carol put in eight candles.  One for each ten years since she was born.  She and Richard lit the candles. We sang happy birthday and she blew out the candles.

Elizabeth and Robert called.  Richard bought Carol a good smoothie maker

One of the geranium six packs that l looked at had three cells that had roots coming out the bottom.

The First Day / 2020

After breakfast and very little news we began to put away the Christmas tree and the Christmas ornaments. We were finished by ten.  We vacuumed and swept and then took a rest.
Not many photos, but a couple to remind me of what I did today.  We put all of the ornaments in their boxes and zip bags.  And then carefully put them in a large tote.
The tree went into a large box; the same box that they came in.  This box had the warning that two people should lift.  I ignored the warning and picket it up and carried it back to the garage.  I also, put the tote in the garage.

It snowed a little.  Yesterday, I got me a battery operated circular saw and a battery.  There was no charger with it.

I took a small Christmas gift to Richard Darnel.  He has be gone all week.

Birthday wishes from Ray and Maryanne, Richard, Robert, Lisa, and Elizabbeth.
