The Sabath

I was up early to start the crock pot. I then went back to bed and slept in.  I did my usual morning chores.  I fed the cats, took my medication and started breakfast.  After breakfast I turned on the water and watered the plants in house five.   I then watered the plants fruit trees in house six.  I went back to the house and put on my suit.  I was about five minutes late. Sacrament meeting was on time with good speakers.  Sunday school also was good.

We had a good breakfast.  We watched channel eleven programing. I met with the Elder's quorum president.   I had a chicken pot pie for supper.  We watched TV until we went to bed. 

Fillmore ThreeTimes

Went to bed earlier last night.  I got up a whole bunch of times for the bathroom.  I did get up with plenty of time to spare.  I started making old fashioned oatmeal mush.  I then fed the cats.  I usually watch the woodworking shows each Saturday morning, but the ones this morning were re-runs.  I got the food ready for breakfast.  Carol was up and I started frying her egg.  My mush was ready.  It was about nine when we drove to Fillmore.  We got a few groceries and diapers for the baby Carol's friend was expecting.  We stopped at the dollar store where we a large gift bag. We also got a baby card for her.  I started to read from the Book of Mormon.  

It was time for breakfast.  I ate the rest of the casserole that was left over from last Sunday.

I worked in greenhouse six.  I wanted to shut off the water that was running. I fixed it so that it would run to the south side.

I had the water line go through the cement block.  A rooster was getting a drink.

The pipe stem had a narrow coupler on it.  I had to go back to roper's to get some parts.

One more egg today.  A total of three from one of the white hens.

Josiah who was helping to shut of the water suggested that I cut off the top of the pipe. I did it with my cordless circular saw. It did a good job.  

I got a piece of inch pipe and glued a PVC pipe into place.  Then I hooked a hose bibb to it and let the water run through the south side of house six. I let it run a little so it wouldn't freeze.  I shut the doors on house five.  I gathered three brown eggs. We watched TV until we went to bed.  

Digging Weeds

I slept pretty good last night.  It was quite late when we went to bed and I was up quite a few times to go to the bathroom, but I went back to sleep without much difficulty.  I got up when it was time to get up.  I weighted, recorded my weight and then fed the cats. I got breakfast ready.  I took my pills.   Carol gets up a little later, I then started cooking. I watched the morning shows on channel 44.  It was after lunch when I went out side to check the greenhouses.

I watered all of the plants in house five.  It took several buckets full of water to give then a good soaking.

 

I dug all of the weeds on the row of green arrow peas.  I was on hands and knees some of time. I then finished the row sitting on a chair, I would dig some with the hoe and then leaned over and up the weeds.

I moved these pots and dug the weeds that were close and underneath. 

I closed the doors to house five and then gathered eggs.  Six hens and five eggs.  We split the sandwiches and put cheese on the and then put them in the microwave oven which melted the cheese.  They tasted much better than eating them cold.  We watched TV until we went to bed.

Water Fixed

 Yesterday I shut off the water that goes to the hen house.  After breakfast I drove to Roper's in Fillmore.

The water didn't run all night.

I drove to Fillmore more and bought these parts at Roper's.

I made these trays to transplant the geraniums.  I got the trays soaking wet.  I transplanted two geranium seedlings. It didn't look like it helped any. I put them back into the germination tray.

Running Water

Slept pretty good last night. It was a little late when I got up.  I weighed, recorded my weight. Showered and said my prayers.  I started my old-fashioned oatmeal mush. While it was cooking, I fed the cats.  I turned on the morning news. got breakfast ready.  Carol got up a little while later.  We had breakfast.  I turned on the TV and watched the morning shows.  After lunch, Lisa called. There was a package on the front porch. The package contained six belts for the vacuum cleaner.

The job was two install the belt and put everything back together.  It was a difficult job to install the belt.  I had to drive in all of the screws.  It looked like the belt was way too short.  I inserted the brush on the left side.  The right side was pretty difficult, but after some persuasion I got it in place.  I plugged in the cord, turned on the vacuum and it begin to work.  After lunch Carol began to vacuum the family room, the front room and her bedroom. 

The first time I checked on the greenhouses I found the cat on one of the benches sound asleep.  I woke up the cat when I was leaving.  We had a good casserole dinner this evening, I gathered four eggs.  I found the water running by the hen house.  I went back to house four and shut off the water.   We watched TV until it was time to go to bed.

Docter Visit

Up a little early.  I had time to weight, to shower, say my prayers and shave.  There was still time to feed the cats and turn on the morning news. I got everything ready for breakfast. Carol got up much later.  I located sources for tree baskets.   I drove over to Todd's house.  He was working on the sewer system for his house. Someone called me before I got home. I found a phone number for the people that had the tree baskets.  I called Ray Johnston and gave him a phone number and a contact person.  He was going to call them.

I watered the fruit trees in house six.  I haven't heard back. I had a doctor's appointment at two.  We were there early, and we had to wait quite a while.  We stopped at the Fillmore Market for a few groceries.  We then went to the drug store for some medications. Got a battery for the bedroom clock. It was easily installed.  We had omelets with the brown hen eggs.  They were good.  We watched TV until we went to bed.

MeetingTodd

 I really slept in this morning.  I forgot to change the clock by my bed.  When I got went into the family room I could see that I was nearly an hour late in getting up

This is morning I drove over to Todd's house.  |He wasn't home.
