Veterans Day

Nothing unusual this morning.  I watched the morning news, fed the cats, fixed breakfast, watched the morning TV shows.  Carol made grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch.  After lunch, I watered the plants in greenhouse five.  I then began to store the dahlia tubbers.  The following photos illustrates some of what I did to day.  The flags posted all over town for Veterans Day.

I got a pretty good picture this afternoon.

This is a photo of the dalihia tubbers under the house.  I is somewhat cool there and I am hopeful that they will survive the winter and be ready to plant next spring  I put a large black garbage on top of them.

The wheelbarrow in greenhouse five was full dry potting soil.  I put a lot of water in it.  I used a shovel to mix it up with the water,   Calico, the cat showed up at eight tonight.  I gave her cat food and water.
