Monday

This morning my alarm woke me up.  I showered, dressed, and fed the cats.  I then made some old fashion oatmeal mush.  Carol was up.  We fixed breakfast.  After breakfast we watched some of the morning TV shows.  I missed part of the shows because I kept falling asleep.  At ten we picked up the mail and then drove to Fillmore to pay our property taxes.  Carol wrote a check for $2,151.20.  We then came home for lunch.  I looked out the back window across the lawn there were two large kittens.  One was orange and the other one was black play with the mother cat. Midnight.  I had a frozen dinner for lunch.  Later Carol went to her DUP meeting.  While she was gone, I was on the phone with Dan Speakman getting my laptop adjusted.   The photos here were not taken today, but last week,

Lisa is helping Robert dig the dahlia tubers.  

Another picture.  After they were dug, Lisa put them in a large black garbage bag which I was holding.

Robert cut a lot of branches off the large tree west of the driveway.  Lisa is cutting branches into smaller pieces so we could load them in the truck, 

I backed the truck into the driveway.

Carol fixed us a lunch before they went home.  From left to right:  Carol, Lisa, Me, and Robert.

I mowed up all of the leaves on the lawns.  I put the leaves in the south garden,

Carol fixed me supper of potatoes, sweet potato, meat and gravy.  It was really good.  I also had bottled peaches.
