It Worked

I walked out to house five.  There wasn't any evidence of any cats.  Carol washed all of the sheets and pillowcases.  We were able to watch some of the morning MeTV shows.   After that we went to Fillmore and stopped at the car wash.  Our car was pretty dirty.  I put the quarter into the machine and began to wash the car.  We then came home for lunch.  This afternoon I watered the plants in greenhouse five.  Mainly the ones on the heating bench.  Yesterday, I tied the chain that was hooked to the shutter to a brick and let the brick hang.  This afternoon I wired the chain to the brick.

Sunday

 Watched some of the morning news.  After breakfast I read the Priesthood lesson.  Carol took me to choir practice.  I used a new pair of glasses that helped some in being to the words of the hymns that we are learning.   The sacrament meeting speakers did a good job.  The teacher of the priesthood class also did a good job. Carol went to the relief society room for her meeting.  After dinner I walked out to greenhouse five.  There were four cats laying on the germination trays.  They wouldn't move.  I had to pick some of them up.  I turned on the water and began to water the plants.   The water pipe come unglued and water was running.  I shut off the water.     

I removed the screen and put it aside as showed in the above picture.

I used duct tape to cover a hole in the west door of greenhouse five.

Robbert and Family Came

Robert and some of his family showed up at our front door.  The pictures for some reason are not in order. What happened last are at the top of the page and what happened first are at the bottom of the page.

Robert. Maison, and Carol at lunch.  After lunch Robert and family left.  As soon as he was gone,  I saw Robert's phone on our dining room table.  I quickly found Jeanne's phone number and called her.   She called Maison who was with Robert. They turned around and came back. 

Busy Friday

 

After morning TV shows were over, we drove to Fillmore and bought some groceries.  Carol is feeling much better, but she feels weak.   We also stopped at the drug store.  We bought some iron tablets and a pair of off the rack eyeglasses.  I watered some of the plants in greenhouse five.  

Snow

Normally we would be at the Timpanogos temple today.  Carol is feeling better but not well enough to go to the temple.  We probably would have stayed home because it was snowing, |It was snowing lightly all day long.  This afternoon I went out the greenhouse five. There were two cats on the heating pad.  I watered the tomato seeds.  No germination so far.  I ordered a hundred geranium seeds.  They were a mixed color.

Another Try

Yesterday I worked for more than an hour getting a Mavrik card endorsed.   After lunch I worked on it again.  Partial success came quickly but I wasn't able to complete it.   I gave up and may try it again tomorrow.  Early this evening I went out to house five.  There were two cats laying on the tray containing the tomato seeds.  

This how it looked when I left it yesterday afternoon.  I covered it with a light web tray.

There are cat tracks all over the tray.  I covered it with a short stack of heavy trays.

Late

Carol is feeling a little better this morning.  This afternoon I turned the water on at the greenhouses.  I watered the tomatoes that I planted yesterday.  I then turned off the water.  After lunch I was on the phone with a credit card lady trying to get my Maverik card registered.  I was on the phone with her for over an hour.  We didn't get it done.  I gave up and told her that I was tired and would try again tomorrow.   This evening, I went back to the greenhouses and turned the water on a little bit.  I also called Dave Dallen and got an appointment to do income taxes.  At six tomorrow.
