A Quick Drive to Orem.

Carol injured right eye in a freak accident Yesterday morning.  Her house coat is was on the floor by the vacuum cleaner.  She bent over to pick it up and eye it the an attachment that was pointed straight up.  It caused a lot of pain.  We had breakfast.  She spent much of the morning with a cold rag over her right eye.

We went to church.  After sacrament a good meeting she drove home.  After priesthood meeting, she came back and picked took me home.  She had a hot meal prepared.  She kept the cool wet rag on her eye most of the afternoon.

This morning she called Dr. Gross' office for an apointment.  He wasn't there, she met with his assistant.  She gave her a preliminary treatment, made an appointment for Carol with and ophthalmologist for Wednesday.

We then drove to Utah county for the last of our Christmas shopping.  The places where we stopped are listed in order.  Walmart, Home Depot, Sam's Club, The Golden Coral, Church Distribution Center, and then Gas at Costco.

We then came home.  It was a few minutes after four when we drove into the house.  When we left home this morning there were six cars parked in front of the greenhouses.   When we got home there were five cars parked.
This a sort of a nursery for baby plants on the east end of house five on the north side.  There are plants in various stages of growth.
The above photo is of house for.  The crew removed all of the poly and removed the benches on the north side of house four.  I think that they are going to use it for drying the hemp plants starting early next year.

There are a few more presents that we need to get which we will get in a week from Saturday.

Comments a questions are welcome.

Sunday Afternoon Wind - Both North & West

It has been quite warm the last week of so.  The ice on the back lawn is melting and is almost gone.  But the cold front that come in this afternoon will stop the melting and start a build up of ice.  This is the way that it looked morning.
This afternoon the wind came from the south and seemed to blow harder and harder.  I did some watering and the next four pictures were of house four.  When I finished the watering the wind came just as hard from the north.

Looks like quite a job to get that fixed.  I may have enough to coverer it left over from the last time I covered it.  The house is 48 feet long and I bought a roll of poly 100 feet long.  There is some under the house and I hope that is what I need.
