My alarm went of this morning at 3:27. Carol was all ready up. I showered, shaved, and had a quick breakfast of raison cooked in oat meal mush which was prepared two days earlier. I make on batch of mush and divided it in to three portions. I eat one and save the other two in the fridge.
We picked up three other passenger and arrived at the Manti temple at 5:30 which is when the doors are unlocked. Our shift is over at 12 noon. We usually eat in the Temple Cafeteria. On the way home we always stop in Salina where we get an ice cream cone. We got home around 2:30. I change clothes as quickly as I can and begin to water the nursery. The plants were not suffering any for the want of water.
I then began to water the baskets, and the garden. Some of the garden was stressed a little.
I stretched some heavy twine on both sides of a row of corn to brace it from the wind which at time will blow the corn over.
That pretty much takes care of my day.
I write all most every day of what goes on in our home in the garden and in the nursery. We are ordinance workers at the Manti Temple on the Tuesday morning shift and the Saturday evening shift. In addition there are several trips to Utah county a couple of times a month and a few short trips to other mountain west areas. Our family is most important to us. All of our children live in Utah except one who lives in Kentucky.

Trip to Linden
We drove our car to Murdock Auto in Linden to replace the front under cover and to have them determine what was making the road noise. We did some shopping and came home. The watering this morning at six lasted until we got home. The worn tires were making the noise. They quoted a price, and I thought that I could getter price at Costco. Costco price was about the same and tires would not be available until tomorrow. We stopped for ice cream and got home about three. I called Steve's Tires. They had some and would be able to put them on at five.
I fixed the watering of Robert's garden which makes it much easier to water.
Late this evening I began work on my new compressor. I have had it for nearly a month and need it to keep the tires inflated. There is still one small part that I need before I can turn it on

Stake President
Carol's Temple recommend expires at the end of this month. I called the executive secretary to make and an appointment. There was no answer. I left a message. He called back later and asked for Carol. She was somewhere in the yard. So he said that she could go in a little after seven. I forgot to tell her then, We were doing some planting in the garden. At 6:30 I went into the house, I then remembered. She went in, got cleaned up and went to our Church house where she got here recommend.
She had to be interviewed by a member of the stake presidency. Yesterday the stake president came to the nursery to buy some plants. We have a new stake presidency, and I didn't know him and I probably wouldn't recognize him. The couple who I vaguely recognized, purchased some plants. When he gave me his credit card, I knew that he was the stake president. Just before he left, I asked him if he would sign carol's recommend. He said that he would. Carol was surprised. She had barely written herself a note to go to Fillmore and get recommend signed. He asked her the questions and signed her recommend.

Company Today
Last week we made arrangements to host, Nyleen, her sister and her husband today. They got here around eleven this morning. We visited a while and then they drove us to Delta for lunch. We ate at the Ashton Farms restaurant. It is a sandwich and French fry place. The food was really good, but we waited a long time to be served. There was a lot of people there. We had a nice visit.
On the way over, we drove past the Solar Cells. There is acres and acers of them. Some are producing electricity now and they are building more and it looks like they are preparing another big section of ground for some future solar cells.
Before we ate, we picked up some pots are Steve Regans store in Delta. We have been waiting for these for over a week.
We the came home.

Do You Believe
I have the sacrament prayers on my IPad. I was reading the prayer for the water, and these thoughts came to mind.
- Do I remember Him?
- Do I witness Him?
- Do I take his name upon me?
- Do I keep His commandments?
- Do I always have His Spirit with me?
