Busy all Day

I was up pretty early and did my morning chores.  Carol fed the cats while I was reading from the Book of Mormon.

I picked these beautiful peonies.  Carol did the arranging.
The plants on the south garden needed watering.  I bought a fifty foot long hose and hooked it up the this hose bibb.  The was only a little dribble from the watering system.  I couldn't figure out.  This morning I hooked it up to another water source.  I was able to water all of the plants in the south garden.
These beautiful flowers are looking very good.
I got another photo.
I worked for over an hour pulling the weeds out of the pole beans.  I run water down the row which made it easier to pull up the weeds.
This evening I planted two chrysanthemum flowers that we got at the cemetery.  I turned the water on the dahlias to soften the soil.  Tonight I cut off the flower stems.  One was really dry.  I planted both of them and watered them.
This allium is white.  Most are blue.  I will did it up this fall and divide lt into two plants.  Larry and Leslie were going to visit us on the way home.  The called and said they were late and will see us at a later date.  I drove to Fillmore to get Carols perscription.  I also filled the car full of gas. Tonight, I checked the oil.  I also watered the Roberts trees. We watched TV until we went to bed.

Payson Temple

I after breakfast I was in the garden watering as much as possible.  I couldn't completely water part of the south garden because there was not enough water pressure.  I checked other part of the yard to see if there was any hoses running. We watched some of the morning channel 44 programs. It was around 7:30 when we drove to the Payson Temple.  It is about an hour away from Holden.  Carol had family names of ancestors where parents were married, and children sealed to their parents.  It was an inspiring session.

As we left I took the picture of the Payson Temple.  We then bought lunch at Wendys in Payson.  We drove straight home.  It sprinkled some on the way home.

We got the chrysathmums at the Holden cementary.  These were on Sires grave.
I ate the rest of the watermelon for lunch.  I gave what was left of the melon to the chickens.
I watered all of the geraniums in our front yard.  Some of them are really looking good.  We watched TV until we went to bed.

Dr Appointment

I got up early this morning, weighed, showered, said my prayers, and began reading in the Book  of Mormon. Carol got up before I finished the chapter.  I fed the cats while Carol was in the shower.  I started fixing breakfast.  Carol washed the sheet on three beds.  We watched three channel 44 programs.  Carol had some back pains.  She called the doctor several times.  He wasn't in. Finally, she got an appointment for 11:15. We went to Fillmore.  While she was in the waiting room; I took my laptop computer to have Dan Speakman take a look at it.  There were two problems with it. The images were too small and I couldn't upload photos from my phone.   I went back to the clinic.  Carol was still waiting.  The technician gave her a shot in her shoulder.  We went home for lunch.  After lunch I did some watering of the little trees on the bench in front of house three.

The water container that I use for the chickens in greenhouse six was empty.  I filled it up  with water and put it back into house six.
I was pretty hot in house six.  The chicken are under the furnace where is is shady. The white hen is sitting on eggs in the corner which is well shaded.  We went back to Fillmore for her medication, and we also bought gas for the lawnmower and for the car.  We watched TV until we went to bed.

Fast Sunday

It was about 5:15 when I got up to start the roast in the slow cooker.  It took me about ten minutes to get everything ready. I went back to bed but couldn't go back to sleep. I couldn't go back to sleep.  I then got back up.  I was up early enough to weigh, shower, pray, shave, and read another chapter in the Book of Mormon.  I fed the cats.  Carol got up and started fixing things for dinner.  Richard's friends were calling him when he got up.  We didn't have breakfast because it was fast Sunday.  Richard leaves a white shirt and a tie in the little bedroom closet.  Later we went to church.  We were a little early.  There was plenty of room to park.  We set on the bench where we usually set.  Soon our bench was full.  There was not much waiting between testimonies.  Sunday school class went pretty good.  We came home.  Dinner was ready, but did require some adjustments.  After dinner Richard gathered up his things and spent the afternoon with Emily and John and his grand kids.  I watered the plants on the front porch.  This evening I checked the plants in the garden.  The heavy rain last night splashed mud on the small Celebrity tomato plants.  I filled the watering can and washed off the dirt. I gathered the eggs.  There were two brown eggs and one little white egg that was laid by the little white hen.  We watched TV until we went to bed,

Mowing and Trimming

We were going to bring the fruit trees growing in greenhouse five and put them on the bench south of house three. We turned on the water and water began spraying all over.  We shut off the water and Robert dug around the pipe to cut it off below the break. I was able to find the PVC parts without going to Fillmore.  Robert glued them all together.  Robert turned on the water and the pipe held. We brought all of the plants and put them on the bench.  I was able to water all of them with a short hose.
Robert put a water line to the small pomegranate bush.  Here he digging a shallow trench to burry the water line.
The garden sage covered with pretty blue flowers.
The wild ryed is very tall and makes it difficult to water the fruit trees growing there.
I got our lawnmower and Robert began mowing the tall grass.
I filled the watering can for the chickens in house five.
Here is a little tree being watered by the drip hose.
Robert has nearly mowed all the wild rye south of house six. The photo shows the large garage belongint to the neighbors.
He mowed through a stack of burnt hemp plants.
Here Robert is mowing along the south side of the wild rye.
Robert is making a trench for planting the Topaz melon seeds.
We planted celebrity tomato plants in two rows west of the hoop house. I ran water down the row to water the celebrity tomato plants.
I started to cut the wiled rye with the weed eater.

Temple is Open

We got up early this morning.  We are going to the Timpanogos temple this morning.  We planned on leaving at seven, so we had a lot to do.  Feed the cats, prepare breakfast, load the car with temple clothes and cooler.  We left right on time.  We were at Nyleen's house with time to spare.  I was able to park the car close to the temple.

After the session, I took this picture when I went to get the car.
When we got back to Nyleen's house I took some pictures of the Fergeson tractor.
