Lost

We were up early this morning to have our breakfast, feed the cats and go to the Timpanogos Temple.  It was 7:30 when we left Holden.  We were able go all the way to American Fork.  We picked up Miles and Nyleen Batty and drove to the Temple.  Carol, Nyleen, and |Miles went to the Timpanogos temple.  I parked the car in the church parking lot about a block away.   Miles and I put on our white temple close.  We met Nyleen and Carol in the chapel.  We then went into the session room.  There was a restroom near the session room.  I stopped in and then went to the session room.  Miles didn't see me go into the restroom.  He started looking for me and then they closed the door.    We didn't see him again until the session was over.  I put on my street clothes and then got the car.  We took Miles and Nyleen back home.  Nyleen had a sack lunch for us.

We had planned to stop a Sam's Club.  It was getting late. We got gas at Costco's and then drove straight home.  The traffic was bumper to bumper as we got closer to Nephi.  The above photo shows the traffic almost stopped.
Here is another photo.  I tried to get a picture of the sign.  I can't read it because I could hold my phone still.

Timpanogos Temple

Temple day.   I was up early showered and shaved and then put on my Sunday suit.  I started cooking my old-fashioned oatmeal mush, I fed the cats.  It is pretty early for the cats and there were not many out there.  There is a lot of road construction north and south of Nephi.  We made our way through the construction area with any difficulties, The traffic was not to bad.  We drove to the Timpanogos temple without any problems.  Parking was another problem.  I drove up and down the rows and ended up parking at the church parking lot.  We stopped at Sam's Cub for needed supplies and groceries.  We were checking out and several claps of lowed thunder.

It was raining hard when we walked out the door.  The car wasn't far away so we made dash for the car.  Carol unlocked the door and opened the trunk.

Timpanogos Temple & More

We went to the Timpanogos temple this morning.  I was up early because I needed to make a batch of old-fashioned oatmeal mush.  After breakfast we shut off the lights and left for the American Fork which is the location of the temple.  We picked up Miles and Nyleen Batty. we went in and scanned our recommend. We had a good session.  Miles had two tractors that I was interested in getting.  The first one that we looked at was an old ford tractor.  The other one was an old international tractor.  Both tractors haven't been driven for a long time and may need to be overhauled.  We got some things at Sam's Club.  We had a few more things to get. We needed to get home to open the doors in greenhouse five and water the plants. The potted plants were doing pretty well, but the two rows of peas were wilted some.  When we got home, I changed my clothes and watered the plants.

One of our neighbors moved a small old home that has been vacant for nearly a one hundred years.  A supper large Crain lifted it up and gently set it down on a large trailer.

I saw these pink flowers on the west side of our garden.  I wanted to dig it up and move closer to our house.

What a surprise

It was quite late when we went to bed.  I set the alarm for 5:15 in the morning.  I made several trips to the bathroom during the night.  At 5:15 the alarm on my phone went off.  I weighted, recorded my weight showered, said my prayers, and shaved.  I dressed in my suit and put on my tie.  And was already for our drive to the Timpanogos temple in American Fork.  I fed the cats and cooked oatmeal mush; I woke up Carol.  She said that she hadn't slept all night.  She got up once to go to the bathroom.  I took off my Sunday suit and put on my overalls. She stayed in bed most of the morning.  When she got up.  She didn't want any breakfast, but she did want a scrambled egg in a small dish and a piece of toast.  I gave her the same thing for lunch.  I had a bowel of canned soup.  Carol laid on the sofa most of the day.    I our to the greenhouses and took care of the plants and chickens. We watched TV for the rest of the day until we went to bed.

Friends

We were up early this morning.  I put on my old suit.  My new suit needed to grow to the cleaners.  We had an early morning breakfast. I was careful because I didn't want to spill any food on my old suit.   Even though it was old, it was still a good suit. Soon after breakfast we got ready to go American Fork.   The traffic was not bad.  We picked up Miles and Nyleen.  We then drove the Timpanogos Temple.  All of the close parking spaces were full.  I parked in the church parking which was east of the temple.  It was a brisk walk back to the temple.  It was a good session.  There were a lot of changes that made it easier to understand.  After the session we took Miles and Nyleen home and after a short visit we headed home.  We stopped at Sam's Club and bought supplies and a few groceries.

We stopped at Costco where we filled up with gas.  I wanted to get some apple juice.  We pulled of the freeway.  Carol mentioned that a car pulled off right behind us.  It followed us past the hospital and into the parking lot at the Nephi Market.   It parked in a parking space a little west of us.  It was the Holloways from Dugway.
When we got home I took the watering can and put it in the hen house.
I took the picture of some tomato plants that are coming up.
I called the County Fresh Laundry to see if they could wash my suit.  They said that they could.
Here are two photo's that that Jesica took of Carol and me.
