This morning, Carol put the beans that I picked yesterday into five-pint bottles.
I is quite a process that takes about two hours to process. This afternoon I was out in the north garden digging weeds. Scamp and her mother were inside this cage. Both ends were open. I dug a lot of weeds. It rained a little, about three drops. I started watering the plants in house five by turning the timer on for thirty minutes.I write all most every day of what goes on in our home in the garden and in the nursery. We are ordinance workers at the Manti Temple on the Tuesday morning shift and the Saturday evening shift. In addition there are several trips to Utah county a couple of times a month and a few short trips to other mountain west areas. Our family is most important to us. All of our children live in Utah except one who lives in Kentucky.

I usually watch my channel seven TV shows each Saturday morning, but they were all reruns. Instead, I walked out to the shed and got the lawn mower.

Every time we drive past a large patch of sunflowers. I tell Carol that I want a picture of her with sunflowers in the background. These sunflowers are north of the house. I got this picture of her and of Tiger, our cat. I created this little verse. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when I think of you. Please don't take you sunshine away."
The carrots are not getting enough water. I run the sprinkler on them for about forty-five minutes. I also run the sprinkler on another raised bed where I am expecting plants strawberry plants sometime this month.
I got this picture of the town garage. One of the men in town is painting it on the north wall. We watched TV until we went to bed.
