TV & Company

30 March 2024 Yesterday

It was late when we got up.  There was no TV this morning.  I fixed the usual breakfast.  I found the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and listened to a lot of different songs. Carol made meat loaf and put a sweet potato and several regular potatoes.   I didn't get a message from the choir director.  I assumed that there would not be any practice.  We walked into the chapel.  Some wondered why I was not at choir practice.  I went to the relief society room and was there in time to practice the hymn once.  There was a lot of people because it was Easter.  There were a lot of visitors there.    There were two youth speakers and two adult speakers.  The topic was to be about Jesus Christ and the resurrection.  One adult speaker talked about hurdles that we may face and then spoke in detail of the hurdles used in track.   At the end of his talk, he mentioned the resurrection Jesus Christ.  We came home for dinner.  After dinner we watched the news on You Tube.  The doorbell rang.  Emi and her friend came.  After some hugs and greetings, they went to bed on the guest bedroom.  We then went to bed.

1 April 2024 TODAY

Carol woke me up this morning.  I was a little after seven when I got up.  I showered, dressed, shaved, and prayed.  Carol set the table for the four of us.  We the waited and waited and waited some more.  Carol finally opened their door.  They were busy with the phones.  They came out for breakfast.  I had mush, Carol had a hard-boiled egg and the girls had two eggs each and orange juice.  They fried their own eggs and one of them scrambled mine.  A guy came to fix the dish.  Some of the following photos illustrates the procedures.

This is the temperature in greenhouse one during the hotest part of the day.  I opened east doors.

This man made some adjustments on our TV and and serviced the dish.

After the adjustments we were able to get a good signal on our TV.

This man is the first person to show up.  Here he is making adjustments on our TV.  He told us that he met his wife at the Payson temple.
