We picked our first Topaz Melon this afternoon this year. I looked at it yesterday and it didn't look like it was ready.
When we got home from the temple, we picked about sixteen ears of sweet corn for Thayne, We prepared a sack of vegies for the Masner's. The sack contained sweet corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, egg plants and one onion.
This evening I walked out to put some water on the lawn. There were two dogs on our driveway. One was black and the other was a heeler. They ran south to the garden. The black one stopped for a minute and then left going west. I got the picture above. It was dusk and the dog was moving.
We prepared the veggies for a green tomato relish. It contained cabbage, onions, green tomatoes, and peppers.
