Robert's Help

Robert came this morning.  He went to work transplanting many of the small tender seedlings.   The photos are not in chronological order.  He brought a box that was full of bareroot fruit trees.  We took them out of the box and planted them in house six.

He dug holes.  I poured water in the holes to make it easier to dig.
There was a total of eight trees. The first three were trees we planted a couple of weeks ago.
One of the white pullets is laying eggs.  There was one four of five days ago and another egg today.  Robert cut away all of the dead elderberry branches.  That made it easier to take the above photo,
Robert is transplanting some of the young seedlings.  They filled up the most of this bench.
We drug a hose from house five to house six.  We used the hose to fill the watering buckets.  We put a large hose bib over the pipe that has been leaking a little.   We put another hose to it is a small plastic pipe.  We can now use it to fill the buckets.  It leaks a little which gives fresh water to the chickens.
Robert hoed out the weeds around the two rows of peas.  It really looks good.   Robert then went home.  I got three eggs from the chicken in the hen house.  I rained and snowed most of the time.  Most of the snow has melted.

We watched TV until it was time to go to bed.
